İSTANBUL DAILY WALKING TOURS

Walking tours in Istanbul is the best way to experience the city. Our walking tours are not just focused on Classical sites but also to the off the beaten track of Istanbul where you find more hidden gems and unusual sites.

Europe and Asia Walk

Private tour will take you to a number of places that are usually not visited by most tour groups. Firstly, we'll walk around Tahtakale, which is a popular shopping area for local people. Because, you can buy almost anything at wholesale prices.

The next stop will be the Spice Market, also known as the Egyptian Bazaar, where locals had been shopping herbs and spices for many years. Spice Bazaar has a total of 85 shops selling spices, Turkish delight and other sweets, jewellery, souvenirs, and dried fruits and nuts. You can walk in the bazaar to explore the Spice Market yourself. Then we'll visit Rustem Pasa Mosque. The Rustem Pasa Mosque that was built by the Ottomans and is famous for its Iznik tiles.

After than, we'll catch a ferry to Kadikoy. There, you are going to visit famous fish market.

After lunch, you'll cross back to the European side of İstanbul by ferry. The ferry will stop at Besiktas and from there we will walk to Kabatas, passing Dolmabace Palace, where Ataturk died in 1938. At Kabatas, we are going to catch a finicular up to Taksim, also known as Pera. Walking around Istiklal Street with many famous clothing shops, such as Mango and Topshop as well as a number of Starbucks and more than 3,000 street cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Then we are going to walk to Galata tower, one of the first towers built in the world. You'll be able to watch a 360 degree view of Istanbul from the highest of the tower. We'll walk to Karakoy and cross the Galata Bridge, where you can see locals fishing. Finally, we'll finish our private tour in Eminonu. From there, you can pass your hotel easily by tram or foot.

Old City Walking Tour

You will be met your guide at 09.00am or 13.00pm at your hotel. Then our guided private tour will be started at the Hippodrome, a center for sport activities and ceremonies and it is also famous for the chariot races during the Roman and the Byzantine era.

After the Hippodrome, we will visit Blue Mosque. The Blue Mosque which is known as the Blue Mosque because of blue tiles covering the walls of interior design. Mosque was built between 1609 and 1616 years, during the rule of Ahmed I. It is known for its blue Iznik tiles and being the only Ottoman mosque with 6 minarets.

After the Blue Mosque, we will walk to the Grand Bazaar through the Divan Yolu Street, on the way you will have a chance to see Million stone, Tomb of Sultan Mahmud and ancient Ottoman cemetery, Cemberlitas (Burnt Column). Our private tour ends about 12.30 or 16:30 with a visit to Grand Bazaar.
